The Appalachian, a four-season hotel, is located in the mountains of New Jersey's beautiful Skylands. The hotel includes slope side ski-in/ski-out located at the base of Vernon Mountain at Mountain Creek Resort. Mountain Creek Resort consists of three mountain peaks for skiing and snowboarding as well as a 30+ lane snow tubing park. The Appalachian is also home to Mountain Creek Water Park and Mountain Creek Bike Park, a downhill mountain biking course (formerly known as Diablo.) New at the Appalachian this year: a mountain roller coaster, mountain zip lines, a 50,000 square foot Day Lodge and on-site restaurants.
